I was very lucky to get a new lens for my birthday recently, a Canon EF70-300mm! I tried it out for the first time at St Stephen's Green park in Dublin the other day, I was delighted to be able to get so much closer to the birds! Here's a mandarin duck I got at the pond.
Oh, I bought the 70-300mm lens before we travelled to Namibia - GORGEOUS stuff! Works fantastic, but is on the heavy side...
