Very happy to have taken part in the Studio 93 open art and photography exhibition at Moate Culture Night with other artists from the Tinderbox Network of which I'm a member. A million thanks to Alan Nagle who gave us the opportunity! This was my entry, a framed print of 'Upside down world', a photograph I took in July 2010 while on holiday in Ballydehob, West Cork. I also submitted some small prints of my Dublin monochrome work.

Cd cover collaboration
I was very happy to be given the opportunity to collaborate in the design of this music Cd which features street musicians playing traditional Irish music with my photograph of Máire Una Ní Bheaglaoich playing the concertina. The other musicians in it are Catalin Cojocariu (violin), Brenda Malloy (harp), who contacted me about the collaboration, and Isabel Ní Chuireáin (guitar and keyboard). A million thanks to Máire and Brenda for giving me this opportunity!

Dunbrody rigging 2
The Dunbrody was a 19th Century three masted sailing ship that brought many emigrants from Ireland to North America during and after the Great Famine. I took this during a guided tour of the replica of the original ship built in 1845. It’s in New Ross, co. Wexford.
